Yogic Numerology - May 2022

Month 5 is closely related to the physical body, along with the astrological movement we are going through right now with the sun entering Taurus, physical sensations intensify, bringing a greater connection with the pleasures related to the experience of being human and therefore, greater attention to excess is necessary.

The number 5, known as half-human, half-divine, brings an energy of not wanting to be controlled, when used in its positive polarity, this month becomes an auspicious time to focus on discipline and health, while in the negative polarity it can also bring the tendency to give up easily (or not even start), skepticism and attachment.

However, when we make the effort to find the balance between allowing ourselves to enjoy the pleasures of being alive without over-indulgence, we get in touch with the energy of the number 11, the number of wholenesses, the most subtle of all, represented by the “guru"; “gu” means darkness, while “ru” means light, guru is the one who leads from darkness to light, freeing human consciousness from material confusion through knowledge’s light.

Just like the guru, the number 11 brings presence to the experience of the moment you are living in, but without attachment to sensations, results, or experiences. Attached to the number 6, an energy that will permeate throughout 2022, access to the higher frequency of 11 becomes even more tangible.

To access all the power May gives us, focus on practices that connect you with the spiritual, meditate, pray, and visualize. Take care of wellness routines and your physical body, question yourself about how to find pleasure in healthy practices, find ways to move your body, and eat food that makes you feel good in every sense. Remember that everything is interconnected, when we take care of the body, we can reach a stage of connection with the truth more easily, just as when we get in touch with our intuition, it becomes easier to bring health into everyday life.

* Where am I creating illusions in the way I see certain topics?

* Are my speech, beliefs and actions aligned?

* Are material things the main focus of my life?

* How much flexibility am I bringing to situations?

* Do I know how to take advantage of what the present moment has to offer or am I impatient to get what I don't yet have?
